Palmito Ranch Battlefield
From May 12-13, 1865, this battlefield was the location of one of the last land engagement battles fought during the Civil War. The battle was fought between Union and Confederate soldiers about one month after General Robert Lee of the Union movement had surrendered.

Immaculate Conception Cathedral
